Iowa City Metro Second-Fastest Growing in Iowa

New census figures show the Iowa City metro area including Coralville and North Liberty rose 10.4 percent from 2010 to 2016, reaching about 168 800, the second-fastest expansion in the state behind Des Moines. Iowa’s total population edged past 3.13 million, up 2.8 percent while the U.S. grew 4.5 percent.
