Cedar Rapids opposition remains to Crestwood Ridge housing plan
Opponents still resist the Crestwood Ridge Apartments project by CommonBond Communities in Cedar Rapids. The revised 45 unit plan at 1200 Edgewood Rd NW aims to address traffic, stormwater and safety concerns as it seeks a fresh rezoning and tax credit approval before summer deadlines. The project faces continuing political and neighborhood opposition despite city staff support and a signed purchase agreement for the 1.98 acre site.
