Suspension of Littleton tavern beer permit by county board
INDEPENDENCE The Buchanan county board of supervisors on the recommendation of County Attorney Kenneth Martinson has suspended the class B beer permit of a Littleton tavern. The tavern is owned by Charles C. Baych. The suspension lasts 30 days starting at noon Thursday. The Iowa liquor commission investigation stemmed from a complaint of beer sales to minors, and the tavern's liquor license is suspended because a beer permit is required to hold a liquor license.
