Czechslovak Death Warrant Ended Republic in 1939
A March 15 1939 document ended Czechoslovakia as an independent state and placed three Czech provinces under German control. Signed by Joachim von Ribbentrop Emil Hacha and Frantisek Chvalkovsky the pact framed the takeover as protection and development of indigenous life.
