Odem appeal on murder conviction denied in Iowa
Robert Wayne Odem had his first degree murder conviction upheld by District Court Judge J W Frye. Odem from rural Alexander plans to appeal to the Iowa Supreme Court after a Floyd County jury found him guilty in May 1981 of shooting William and Kimberly Smith at their Latimer home on December 27 1980.
