Iowa Supreme Court Nullifies State Conservation Rules
The Iowa Supreme Court ruled that the state conservation commission exceeded its authority by adopting hunting and fishing regulations and making violations punishable as misdemeanors. The decision voids the commission rules and bars enforcement, leaving no legal open season on game. A. E. Rapp said bills will be prepared to correct the statutes.
