Sanitary Sewer Work Begins at North English
North English starts sanitary sewer extensions contracted last fall by Public Development Co. Montour. The line begins east of the Selmer Shall property, runs along Clark street east of Don Hall, crosses the tracks into Effa Butler pasture, then follows the railroad southwest to the athletic field corner with laterals to serve northwest sections. The new line will also feed a station north of the Clarence Means property and property along the Millersburg road.

Four UI Flutists to Perform Groupings for Four Flutes
Four University of Iowa students will perform Carl Johnson's Groupings for Four Flutes at 8 p.m. in the Iowa Memorial Union music room. Joint Decorah Luther Aid Summer Community Works Program
