Martin Schlossman and Harry Weiss were convicted in Brooklyn County Court for kidnapping Paul H. Wendel and forcing a false confession that exonerated Bruno Hauptmann. UMWA President Ray Edmundson added time and a half for overtime double time for Sundays and holidays and two weeks paid vacations.
