He was a retired Penick and Ford Co employee born in Nebraska and married Elizabeth Schimnerling March 20 1917 in Town City. Survivors include a daughter Mrs Woodrow Ferguson of Davenport two foster daughters Vera Davis of Des Moines a brother Lawrence Drake of Eugene Ore six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Cedar Memorial chapel burial Cedar Memorial cemetery. The body is at Hill and Fredericks Davenport.

He was an International Typographical Union Local 192 member and past president of The Gazette 25 year club. Memorial services Thursday at Turner Chapel West at 3 30 p m with burial at Cedar Memorial cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
