Money Allocation Plans by Iowa Communities
Cedar Rapids would use all funds for flood protection along the Cedar River. Marion would dedicate 70 percent of LOST proceeds to streets and sewers, rest to other projects. Robins would spend funds on streets water and sewer construction or repair and other improvements. Hiawatha Fairfax Walford would direct funds to any lawful purpose with up to 10 percent for property tax relief in Hiawatha. Linn County unincorporated area funds would cover secondary roads 50 percent and 25 percent each for property tax relief and conservation.
