Cuba cigar sales rise despite embargo and recession fears
Habanos SA reported 2011 sales of 401 million dollars, a 9 percent rise, aided by global demand for luxury cigars despite the U S embargo and Europe's economic woes. The company noted sales in 150 countries and China growth, while forecasting a challenging 2012 amid tighter tobacco restrictions worldwide.
