Coralville Dam Outlook Remote for Congress Aid
Washington sources say the Coralville Iowa flood control project faces slim chances for funding in this session. The House approved the war department civil functions bill with no specific line for the Iowa river plan and only a remote possibility exists if a committee amendment allocates 10 percent of a $70 million flood control appropriation to unprovisioned projects.
