Iowa nursing board revokes edgewood nurse license
The Iowa Board of Nursing revoked the license of Maria Palmer Vega after finding she misappropriated medications, used fentanyl patches while on duty, and falsified records at Edgewood Convalescent Home in Delaware County while employed by Fusion Staff Solutions. Vega, now in Georgia, faced no criminal charges. The board also noted prior actions against other Iowa nurses including Stephanie Beveridge and Jazmyne Jones for drug-related misconduct and license suspensions.
