Benefit concert boosts Xavier missing child reward fund
Proceeds from a Montezuma benefit concert including a silent auction and sales will grow a reward fund set earlier in the month at Montezuma State Bank for information on Xavier's whereabouts. As of Monday noon the fund exceeded $25,000. Local musicians Adam Whitehead and Hunter Mason headline the event to raise awareness as the search continues in Poweshiek County Iowa. Police say Xavier was last seen May 27 at Spruce Village trailer park near Diamond Lake County Park. A digital tip line and outreach to residents continue as investigators review tips and leads. Call Poweshiek County Sheriff's Office with information.
