Ely Legion Building to Be Dedicated Today
The Ely Legion will formally dedicate its new home this afternoon at 2:30 with Don Johnson of West Branch as speaker. Invitations went to local posts and auxiliaries. a reception follows. Begun in January 1954 the facility includes an auditorium stage and meeting room upstairs and a recreation room and kitchen downstairs. The building will host community affairs dances and Legion activities.
