PPEL renewal would fund Cedar Rapids schools over 10 years
The Cedar Rapids district seeks a 1.34 levy to raise about 145.5 million over a decade for transportation, maintenance, safety upgrades, and new pathways at Kennedy Jefferson and Washington high schools. If voters reject, the board could impose 33 cents per $1,000 AV, cutting most projects.
