First Neighborhood Watch Sign Goes Up in Marion
The first Neighborhood Watch sign was installed at 2900 Second Ave in Marion as part of a cooperative program with IMPACT the Citizens Advisory Committee and the Police Department. Since March fifty neighborhood meetings have been held and eight in ten households must join. Members urge reporting suspicious activity identifying items with police issued numbers and annual meetings to maintain participation.
