Linn County runs out of storage for historic records
Linn County offices face critical space shortages as vaults and sub-basement storage fill. The move to the Administrative Office Building did not solve the problem, with records dating to the 1840s and autos registration papers crowding available space. Officials consider leasing space in City Hall or a local warehouse, or constructing new storage, as debates over temperature control and security continue.
