Alfred Robinson, 31, was killed after police say he failed to stop for Des Moines officer Hurl Beechum who fired once at him. Investigators found Robinson not carrying a weapon. Beechum had known Robinson from school and said the man moved as if reaching for a gun. The shooting followed a prior robbery incident and an attempted warrant service.
