Bride Marcia Claney Weds Wendell Whitcher in Clarence

Miss Marcia Ann Claney of Glidden daughter of Mr and Mrs Warren Claney of Clarence married Saturday afternoon to Wendell Clark Whitcher son of Mr and Mrs Ralph Whitcher of West Union. The 2 PM ceremony was at United Methodist Church performed by Rev Wallace Kinzler. A reception followed at the church. The bride wore lace over crepe with short sleeves.

Bridal Shower Honors Miss Himmel Before Wedding

A miscellaneous bridal shower was given Sunday evening for Miss Tere sa Himmel who will marry Rick Danley on Saturday. Twenty guests attended at the home of Mrs. Wes Prokop with co hosts. Guests included Orrs from local towns and family members. The couple will reside in Fayette after graduation from Upper Iowa University where the bride taught at Glidden.
