Iowa Fertilizer Plant to gain additional 25 million in tax breaks
The Iowa Economic Development Authority approved 25 million dollars more in incentives for the Iowa Fertilizer Plant in Lee County. The project will add 11 jobs to reach 180 and lift total investment to 1.9 billion dollars, with total state investment at 107.5 million. plant officials say output will be 2 million tons annually and average wages around 32.60 an hour.
