Obama visits Orlando families after Pulse shooting
President Obama and Vice President Biden met grieving families in Orlando for a private, low key gathering four days after Omar Mateen killed 49 people at Pulse. They urged Congress to pass stricter gun measures while noting Mateen’s lone attacker history and lack of evidence of a larger plot. Noor Salman, Mateen’s wife, has not been charged though authorities consider possible federal conspiracy charges if she had prior knowledge.
