Cedar Rapids Band Performs Two Free Afternoon and Evening Concerts
The Cedar Rapids Municipal Band presents two free concerts today at 4 p.m. at Meth-Wick Manor and 8 p.m. at Bever Park, about an hour each, conducted by Frank Piersol. Trumpet soloist James Debb leads a varied program with Encore pieces by King, Panella, and Sousa. Debb also holds positions in the Symphony Quintet and Orchestra of the Cedar Rapids-Marion Academy of Music.
