Iowa Gear on New Satellite
Iowa engineered instruments from the University of Iowa on a NASA IMP-6 Explorer 41 mission to launch from California's western test range. The near polar 215 mile to 135,000 mile orbit will study the radiation belts and solar wind to monitor space between Earth and the moon. The project, managed by NASA Goddard, involves six universities and industry partners and marks another milestone in U of I space contributions since Explorer 1.

Delaware County Sued By Catholic Charities

PACKWOOD AP Morris E. Johnson 23 of rural Crawfordsville died in a single car crash near Packwood early Tuesday. The accident occurred on a rural road and authorities reported the fatality, with no other occupants present in the vehicle. Two Youths Fined Not Involved in Benton Chase
