Train buff runs own Florida excursion railroad on a shoestring
Frank Pollock, 65, former sewing-machine salesman, built a miniature Florida Central Railroad with five miles of used track, a diesel engine, two coaches and a 1925 steam locomotive. He once operated a profitable freight line and the Orange Belt tourist run. Seaboard plans to sell 200 miles of track, aiding Pollock's bid to establish a West-Central Florida excursion line.
