Freiburg Passion Play Shines In English Version in Shrine
Freiburg Passion Play opened its four day run at the Shrine Temple, enhanced by modern staging and a Cedar Rapids orchestra. Adolf Fassnacht dominates as Christus in a moving production with strong support from Omar Campbell and Heinrich Hauck. the English performance, largely intelligible, conveys historical authenticity from Jerusalem’s setting to the resurrection finale.
