NTS expands Cedar Rapids 24 hour bus service with United Way support
Cedar Rapids residents can reserve NTS rides 24 hours in advance at four dollars a trip. Since 1994 the program has grown from 600 rides in five months to last year’s 48 700 rides, aided by United Way funding for extended hours and a shift to 6 a.m. service.
