Pigs fall from Cedar Rapids bound semi on I 380
Seven piglets dropped from a northbound semi on I 380 near the 5 1 Bridge. Five piglets died or were euthanized after rescue attempts. Driver Terry Wilcox did not know pigs were escaping. Cedar Rapids and other agencies recovered the survivors and transported them to shelter.
