Banker from Goldman Sachs backs Ralston claim at trial
An investment banker from New York City testified for Ralston Purina in a 75 million dollar suit over Keystone International ski resort. John Jamison of Goldman Sachs said the resort would fetch about 20 million if sold, about six dollars a share today, and that 1973 values were as low as four million. He noted ski resorts’ limited regional appeal and acknowledged differences with Keystone and his firm’s payment of about 25 thousand for testimony. The Linn District Court case, before Judge Ansel Chapman, continued in its eighth week.
