Hopkins wore disguise and used a 9 mm pistol and a Taser during the brutal confrontation. Deyo was shot in the leg, and Hopkins was later wounded by Deyo’s return fire. The case centered on ownership of the internet domain.

Illinois man dies after crash on Highway 38 in Cedar County
A 72 year old Creve Coeur driver William Ryan died after a T bone collision with a semi truck driven by Dennis Baker in Cedar County on Highway 38 near 306th Street. Another man William Holford was injured and hospitalized. The crash remains under investigation. A separate Marion Verizon robbery suspect Joshua Hamilton, 30, was arrested on second degree robbery charges with a DNA match linking him to the October 16 incident.
