Bender-Foster Awards Presented at Oak Hill Jackson Banquet

Bear Victim in Good Condition After Grizzly Attack
A year-old girl mauled by a grizzly bear at a Yellowstone campground was in good condition Thursday. Daphne Jax of St. Paul suffered cuts internal injuries and a broken rib and was flown to a St. Paul hospital after treatment at Yellowstone hospital.

House Bans Resurrection City Camp on Federal Property
The House voted 327 to 51 to bar overnight camping on federal property in the capital for the Poor People’s Campaign Resurrection City. Rep Gray estimated City cost the government over 1 million dollars. The measure moves to the Senate.
