Palo City Council June 7 2021 workshop and ordinances
The Palo City Council met in open session at the Palo Community Center on June 7 2021. Mayor Eric Van Kerckhove led the pledge as council members Brekke Rahe and Hagstrom attended with staff Lenna Goodale Clark Robertson and Erek Sittig. The meeting approved the agenda and second readings for Ordinance 22 2021 adopting floodplain regulations and suspended the three reading requirement. Discussion over ECICOG LMS funds and future program options followed, with Tracey Achenbach and Paula Mitchell to propose programs. Restrooms at Memorial Park to reopen with security cameras and possible vandalism actions addressed. CIP tabled to review documents. volleyball equipment purchase and P Z planning discussed. Nextera solar farms were introduced to the council. Meeting adjourned at 7 51 pm. The Cedar Rapids development services and Board of Adjustment notices follow with virtual meetings due to COVID 19 and access details.
