Utah man meets kidney donor who saved his life

After five years on dialysis Michael Braginton of Utah finally meets Cheryl Moore, the kidney donor and Iowa family friend who made the transplant possible. Braginton had waited on the donor list for months and pursued a match among many relatives before Moore offered her kidney.

Refugee children flown to Des Moines despite denial

Linn County jail ends in-person visits for inmates

Cedar Rapids inmates at Linn County Correctional Center will no longer receive face to face visits. The jail moved to video visitation in February after ending in person visits last year due to COVID 19. Sheriff Brian Gardner said the system is installed and nearly through beta testing with all inmates having access.
