Iowa universities lead in state financial literacy program rollout

The Iowa Board of Regents supported a new online financial literacy course across ISU UI and UNI, funded by the National Endowment for Financial Education. UI and UNI will auto enroll in fall, ISU in spring, with four weeks or a full semester to complete, plus increased mentor contact. The plan accompanies a tuition hike to fund reduced state support.
