Tattered turf prompts lawsuits and repairs at Coe College
Coe College replaced sections of its Clark Field turf twice under an eight year warranty after fibers crowds pulled away revealing rubber. Athletic director John Chandler said both replacements were free and there was no hassle from FieldTurf, a Montreal firm facing lawsuits over durability claims. FieldTurf sold over 1400 Duraspine fields from 2005 to 201 TURF.
