CyTown plan for ISU arts center shifts to PILOT deal
City documents detail CyTown a 40 acre mixed use project by Iowa State to fund renovations at the Iowa State Center. ISU would levy a PILOT on tenants to fund infrastructure and performing arts support while addressing competition and tax questions with the city and state revenue officials. A 30 year McFarland Clinic ground lease accompanies the plan, securing a 70 000 to 80 000 square foot medical facility with ISU athletic access and campus health integration.
