IATA proposes new cabin bag size standard for airlines
The International Air Transport Association announced a 21.5 by 13.5 by 7.5 inch luggage size with wheels, aiming to fit in 120-seat plus aircraft. Airlines may sign on voluntarily, with a “Cabin OK” tag and tracking number for lost bags, backed by Boeing and Airbus collaborations.
