GM to Raise Truck Prices on Average Six Percent
Detroit AP General Motors told dealers in price assurance letters that 1977 light to heavy trucks may rise about six percent over current models. Labor Dept rejected 6000 GM workers' special jobless claims. 6000 in NY and Ohio were eligible. Ford plans 1230 new jobs at St Louis plant this fall to resume second shift due to strong demand for large models.
