Bank Robber Benjamin Paddock Added to FBI Most Wanted List

Benjamin Hoskins Paddock, 42, known as Chrome Dome, is placed on the FBI Ten Most Wanted list after escaping a La Tuna Texas federal prison on December 31 while serving a 20 year sentence. Authorities note his long criminal history dating to 1946, describe him as dangerous and psychopathic, and list physical traits, nicknames, and past occupations and hobbies.

Harmony Hawks To Appear In St Louis Event

Harmony Hawks the Cedar Rapids SPEBSQSA chorus will perform at the 31st International Chorus and Quartet Contest in St Louis from June 23 to 28. The Cedar Rapids group in its 20th year has 95 members with about 70 taking part in the competition. Fourteen U S districts and Canada are represented. The Hawks have won the Central States district for the third straight year and will compete internationally for the ninth time. The Vigortones quartet, linked to Harmony Hawks, will join about 45 competing quartets. Quartet members are Len Bijella Dick Leighton Ken Vogel and Bob Nance. City leaders from Cedar Rapids Dubuque Iowa City and Waterloo discuss CRISES IN THE CITIES tomorrow on Channel 9 color at 6 30 PM Tuesday.
