Washing Wound Advice From Dr Lamb and Urine Myth
A Vietnam veteran promotes fresh urine for wound cleansing, while Dr Lamb cautions that urine is not superior to clean water and that cleaning minor wounds may do more harm. A second reader asks if long term marital tension can cause a nervous stomach and diarrhea. Dr Lamb links chronic stress to ulcers and digestive upsets and stresses emotional treatment.
