Quad Amputee Jimmy Wilson to graduate and wed in June
Quadruple amputee Jimmy Wilson, a University of Florida student and Vietnam era veteran, will graduate with a BA in political science on June 5 and wed three days later to Dorothy Mortenson. He plans to study law in Colorado and hopes to practice there after graduation. He uses an electric typewriter for notes and writes by hand for class work, taking exams without extra time. He was the sole survivor of a 1944 Vermont air force bomber crash and was found after three days.
