Selina J Holmes 1005 Tenth Street NW died at 11 55 p m Tuesday after a long illness in a local hospital. Born October 22 1875 in Virginia she lived in Cedar Rapids for 60 years. Survived by a brother Oscar. Service at Beatty chapel at 2 p m Thursday with Rev S E Dooty. Burial in Shiloh cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
Services for Samuel Wilson of 1733 Seventh Avenue SE will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church with Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. M. Molloy officiating. Burial is at Mt. Calvary cemetery. Msgr. Molloy and the Knights of Columbus will led rosary at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Monahan Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Mrs. John B. Johnson, who died suddenly at home in Clinton, will be held at Turner chapel at 1 30 p m Thursday conducted by a reader from the First Church of Christ Scientist Clinton. Entombment follows in the Chapel of Memories at Cedar Memorial cemetery. Friends may call at the family home until the service.

Five people including an infant die and 22 are injured when a railway car catches fire near Clermont-Ferrand France. The incident occurred Monday, according to AP reports.
Mrs. Moyer seeks custody alleging an infant adoption occurred without her full consent.
