The Rev. A. W. Brauer 75 long time Lutheran pastor at St. John's Keystone died Thursday evening in a Cedar Rapids hospital after a 10 week stay. He retired January 1957 after 47 years in the ministry the last 33 at St. John's Keystone. He was born May 26 1886 Beecher Illinois married Lydia Sievers October 10 1909 she died 1955. He remarried Bertha Pohlmann November 20 1957. Survived by wife two daughters two sons two brothers and three sisters. Services Monday at 3 pm St. John's Keystone burial Keystone cemetery.
