Texas Family Outing Ends In Drownings
A four member family group and a cousin drowned while playing in the Bosque river near a YMCA camp four miles northeast of Valley Mills Texas. Kenneth Spoonts 18 his wife Juanita 17 Joyce 16 and Lula Spradley 15 were from Waco Oklahoma City respectively. Mrs Spoonts watched from a steep trail as the tragedy occurred during a planned August family reunion trip. The camp had not opened for the season.
