Dutch prove too much for Xavier in 2A semifinal
Pella defeats Cedar Rapids Xavier 2-1 in a hard fought Class 2A semifinal at Downie Soccer Park. Ethan Poulter headed in the go ahead goal for Pella with 4 minutes to play, as Xavier finishes 10-8. Poulter adds 36th goal of the season. Pella advances to face Storm Lake in the 2A final.
