Iowa May tax receipts set record as revenue tops one billion
Iowa May tax collections hit a May record with 1.03 billion in gross receipts, the second time since 2013 topping one billion. Net revenue reached about 934 million after refunds, aided by calendar shifts and holdover deposits. Personal income tax led gains while sales and corporate taxes declined.
