Iowa Supreme Court lets Central City bond plan stand
The Iowa Supreme Court unanimously refused to overturn a May 2005 ruling on Central City school bonds, allowing the district to proceed with a total 4.6 million in bonds and up to 4.05 per thousand taxed value for a high school project. The decision centers on three ballots marked without a proper target, so they cannot be counted under state law.
