Suit withdrawn clears bond sale for Cedar Rapids airport
A suit by Ozark, Mississippi Valley Airlines and others challenging Cedar Rapids airport bond sales was withdrawn after the Airport Commission approved leases for the present and new terminals. The action allowed an $11.5 million bond sale to proceed as plans shrink to a $9.5 million issue. The commission intends to redesign the terminal and bid the project by early next year while United Airlines negotiates possible cost adjustments.
