Thompson loses mirrors charge and faces multiple penalties
Linn District Court in the First Avenue division dismissed mirrors and turn signal charges against Tom E. Thompson. He was found guilty on eight April 23 charges including license display, driving on the wrong side, sidewalk operation, reckless driving, vehicle registration, and attempting to elude police with various sentences. Several other defendants faced fines, suspensions, probation, and deferred sentences for offenses ranging from criminal trespass to drunk driving and fraud.
