Blair Glenn an 18 year old high school climber hung two days from El Capitan in Yosemite with partner David Pedersen 22. They reached the valley floor with ropes and pitons after rest and aid from Swiss climbers and a 12 man support team. Glenn recalled passing out for 35 minutes after a rock strike and said they would attempt another ascent later.
